その料理を見たとき、あるいは口にしたときに、ふと浮かぶ景色や思い出は、人によって少しずつ違います。友人や知人から聞いた、彼らの中にあるその料理のイメージや記憶。そんなささやかな断片を、やわらかなイラストとともに綴った、ちいさなミニエッセイです。 人によって異なる記憶や味わいがあるよに、その思い出やその時の感覚にそった１つを選び、自身の気持ちと照らし合わせるようなコミュニケーションを目指し、パッケージングとしての帯を18色展開しています。 「味なレコード」の製本は全て手作業で行なっている折本です。A4用紙1枚の中で展開される物語を創造することで、日常のヒトコマの積み重なりであることを暗示しています。結果としてこの選択がプロダクトとしての可愛さと、コスト的な貢献を果たしてくれています。 The memories and images that surface when we see or taste a certain dish differ from person to person. Each holds their own impressions—stories quietly attached to flavor. This small essay collection pairs those gentle fragments, gathered from friends and acquaintances, with soft illustrations. To reflect those personal impressions, we created 18 variations of the book’s wrapper, each in a different color. Our hope is that you’ll choose the one that resonates with your own memories— a quiet way of engaging with the work through feeling, rather than instruction. Ajina Record is fully hand-bound, using a folded A4 sheet as its base. Each piece tells a story within the confines of a single page, gently suggesting that memory—like flavor—is built from simple, daily moments. This approach adds not only a sense of charm and intimacy to the work, but also thoughtful balance in terms of production and cost.
