ライター・エッセイストのあやめしの著書「だいじょうぶだよ」のブックデザインを担当しました。タイトルにもある「だいじょうぶだよ」は我が子に向けた言葉であると同時に、子育てに奮闘する自分自身にも向けられた言葉として名付けられています。表紙のイラストは"私"が我が子を抱く様子。帯のイラストは”私”が"私"を抱く様子、もしくは"母"が"私"を抱く様子。表紙と帯のイラストに若干の差異をつけるはタイトルにある「だいじょうぶだよ」のコンセプトを表紙と帯の関係性で表現することを目論んでいます。 I was in charge of the book design for writer/essayist Ayameshi's book "It's okay." The words "It's okay" in the title are not only words for my child, but also for myself as I struggle to raise my children. The illustration on the cover shows me holding my child. The illustration on the obi depicts "me" holding "me" or "my mother" holding me. By creating a slight difference between the illustrations on the cover and the obi, we aim to express the concept of "It's okay" in the title through the relationship between the cover and the obi.
